Westwood Works, is an an organization that considers existing local assets as the primary building blocks of sustainable community development and celebrates the Westwood community. By building on strengths that exist and connecting people to build a vibrant future, Westwood Works advocates for a positive, collaborative, and meaningful approach to community building.
Kevin Tolan Is New Executive Director
Kevin Tolan brings well over a decade of experience to Westwood Works in economic and community development, fundraising, sponsorships and place making expertise. As a graduate of the University of Cincinnati School of Planning and Hunter College in New York, he has worked in Cincinnati, Covington, KY and Brooklyn, NY in a variety of non-profit settings.
“I am thrilled to be part of the Westwood Works team and the larger Westwood community as we continue
to connect, activate and strengthen Cincinnati’s largest neighborhood by building and expanding upon our flagship events at Westwood Town Hall and other sites throughout the neighborhood,” said Tolan.
Westwood Works Leading Positive Change
In over five years, Westwood Works has grown its reach to include several large events which have been attended by more than 5,000 people in the past year. Events include the Westwood Pop Up Beer Gardens, The Westwood Art Show, and Westwood’s Deck the Hall. Westwood Works hopes to continue to showcase Westwood’s strong community involvement and pride, beautiful architecture and massive potential to
become one of the region’s most sought-after communities under Kevin Tolan’s leadership.
